Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

My son has been kicked out of his college dormroom and his tuition has been paid in full which includes his dormroom. I live in a different state and I do not know what to do. Can they do that without returning any of his money to him? He doesn't know anyone in that state and we do not have any family member there.

Why was your son kicked out of his dormroom, and what does the lease contract say about termination? I assume he had a right to a hearing before being evicted. Did he demand a hearing, and if so, is there a record of the findings? When did this happen? Ordinarily, a landlord can stipulate in a lease contract that certain specified events shall constitute default on the part of the tenant, and the lease should set out these penalties. I need more information to answer this question better. Feel free to email me at [email protected] or call me at 913 441 5025 if you want to discuss this further.
