Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

I have a Quit Claim Deed to my mother's house since 2010. She hasn't lived there since 2009, when she had a stroke. The house was put in my name in 2006 with Mother as the "life interest". Now we need to file for Medicaid to help with assisted living expenses. Is the house safe from being taken by Medicaid as one of her assets?
