Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nebraska

credir card consolidation

My mother-in-law is a co-signer on a credit card that I got for business purposses years ago. We have just continued to use the card and have never got her name off of it. Now, the businessand I are going to file bankruptcy. Can we transfer to another credit card, getting her name off of the account before filing or will that be considered fraud?
