Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Nebraska

WEIGHT discrimination in an applebees restaurant

we experienced an act of discrimination in our local applebees restaurant, we had to wait 4 to 5 minutes to be seated and finally the mananger said from the back someone seat the fat family, we were seated and rude comments came from applebee employees, look at the fat family and we were the only ones in that section, the one employee who was saying this was drinking a beer, and then they would all turn around and this continued to happen. we notified the manager and he really didnt do much about it, we walked out feeling uncomfortable and feeling totally discrimanted against. i have contacted coporate headquarters about this situation, and was wondering if there is anything legal we can do about this situation. it makes me wonder do they discriminate against your race, handicap, or any imperfection you may have. to top this all off we went there for my son's 12th birthday, so his birthday was ruined and he felt very embarrassed and upset. please let me know if we can take legal action against this company, we are not looking to get rich, but we would not want any other family to go through this uncomfortable, humiliating situation like we did. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.
