Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada

LLC purchase

In July of 2007 I purchased an LLC based in NV while living and doing business out of FL. I was assigned a registered agent but after reviewing all documents I now notice that the address for the RA is the same as ours and is not a person but rather a company. Plus I do not have a contact phone # either and they never forwarded my 4th quarter tax info to me after trying several attempts to contact them. Legally aren't they obligated to provide the correct contact info to me since I am the managing member and they are the ones to represent me?

Re: LLC purchase

You are responsible for supervising your resident agent. If you cannot communicate with them you should get another resident agent. They have a legal obligation to forward you legal papers, but you have the responsibility to see that they do that.
