Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada

I owe money ($2500) to a collections service in Nevada. what is the best way to get it resolved without all the penalties ive accrued??

Come up with the cash and offer that ... cash. Say that you can pay the full balance (when you can) if they will forgive the accrued interest and penalties. If they do not accept, thank them and hang up, then send another $20 in good faith. Most creditors will call when they receive it, wondering where the rest of the money is, and you reiterate that you can settle the balance if only they will waive all the accumulated costs. It won't take more than a couple times doing that before they likely will settle for the outstanding principle balance and go on their way to another debtor. Go sell something you own, borrow from a family member, or take a second, part-time job to raise the cash, then get yourself out from under this debt. Good luck!
