In southern Nevada, the DA will not prosecute cases involving payday loans. Why? Because at the time you authorized the withdrawal, the lender knew that you didn't have any money! The District Attorney isn't a free collection agency & this should be solved in civil court by filing a lawsuit.

Since your zip code indicates that you are not in southern Nevada, I suggest you contact your local DA's office & ask if they will do this. To threaten someone with criminal prosecution to try to collect a debt is in itself, a crime in Nevada.

If you have overwhelming debt problems, you have options & may wish to obtain legal advice.

Good luck!
