Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

divorce and custody

i submitted a question to lawguru and they gave me some good anwsers,recomending a consultation with a lawyer,now,if i need one,how can you get one if you need one,but just dont have money for one.i could make payments to one if they do that.i have one day to find a solution then i have to go with my wife and see how her and her attorney have papers made up.we have 3 kids,sounds like we will do equal custody,she has a job,we nothing but debts no assets she borrowed 1400dollars from a cousin to pay her lawyer fee,i have nothing except 200 dollars till next paycheck,she wants no alimoney,50-50 on the debts which include money we owe her family,and will get half of my 401k.i may not have enough to live on,we rent not own,and will have to look for apartments,1 child has type 1 diabetes and his being looked after im concerned about,i work 14 dys of the month off 14 days of the month,she only has weekends off,and is from mexico but is a us citizen now.i dont want to divorce but she does because me and my 2 oldest kids have been having problems fighting because they wont mind and disrespect us and threaten to go to the school counciler if i disiplin them.what do i do,i dont want to sign papers i dont understand.

If you have no funds for an attorney, you can see if you qualify for an attorney through pro bono for low income individuals or through Legal Aid. Unfortunately there are waiting lists. If you cannot meet any of their financial requirements, you could try and borrow the funds from friends/relatives or from your 1/2 share of the 401K plan.
