Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

if my fiance and i have a commitment ceremony, would he be able to adopt my children from a previous marriage the same as if we had a full legal ceremony?

There is no common law marriage in Nevada. A legal marriage must be done according to law. Once married, for your new husband to adopt your children you must petition the court and legally serve the father with the petition. http://lvfamilylawattorney.com/
