Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Stepmothers rights

My husband and his ex-wife have been divorced for 9 years. We have been together for 5 years and married for 1 year. He does not want her new boyfriend picking up his daughter or her being at home with him alone. Now she says that I can't be alone with her or do all the things I use to unless her boyfriend can too. They have been dating for 2-3 months. Is this legal?

Re: Stepmothers rights

Of course not. You have an established relationship with your stepchild. However, it may not be legal for your husband to impose his will upon his ex-wife unless he has evidence that the new boyfriend is a child abuser.
