Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My wife and I have been apart for 2 years now. She moved another man into our house 2 years ago and is still with him. She won't cooperate with me on filing for a divorce because she says she can't afford it. We don't have any kids to fight for custody, just the house and belongings which I don't want any of. Is there a way to proceed with this without her?

Yes. You could file a Complaint for Divorce and have a prrocess server serve her the complaint. If she fails to Answer or otherwise respond within 20 days, exclusive of the day of service, you can ask the court for a Default. Once you have the Default you can prepare a Decree of Divorce which, once signed, will get you divorced.

This answer assumes that you have lived in LV, NV for at least 6 weeks before you file your divorce complaint.
