Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

Can I be sued for this accident when i was not the driver.

In Feb. 2008 my then 20 year old daughter had an accident where she was considered at fault. We live in Texas and she Lives in Vegas, however since the car was titled in my name and she is a student she was on my policy. We have 500/500 limits on our auto policy. There were 4 kids in the other car with injuries ranging from a broken leg to brain injury. We just recieved a letter notifying us that one of the kids had demanded full payment out of the policy. My concern is can they sue me or does it fall soley on my daughter, or both of us???? and is wage garnishment allowed in Nevada or Texas (or what other means of collecting money is allowed in the state(s) that would be involved. ) My daughter does and did have her nevada liscense at the time.

Yes, there are theories of liability for the car owner, such as negligent entrustment. You should check with your own insurance carrier, to see if you have other applicable insurance that may help with coverage (such as umbrella, or other auto policies.) You may wish to have your own counsel, assuming the insurance company hasn't hired one for you yet.

If you had insurance, let them handle it for you.
