Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Hampshire

should I pursue of forget

I recently went into the hospital for a basic gall bladder surgery, Unfortunately it wasnt so easy! Two days after my surgery I was taken by ambulance to a hospital 3 hours from home, the end result is the doctor had but a clamp on a duct leading to my Liver and never taken it off. A week later I am home for approximately 10 days before I need to undergo a Major Surgery to remove the clamp and reconstruct my liver duct. I presently have a bag to drain my liver into until I have this surgery done, I have undergone many painful testing while in the hospital, am missing work and time with my children, needless to say I am very angry and want to know what if anything I should do???? Please advise!

Re: should I pursue of forget

It is probably too early to tell whether you should pursue or forget this. It sounds like it MAY be that a mistake was made. The next step is to see how long it take you to recover from this. That step is important for you to determine whether it is in your interest to actually pursue this claim.
