CDL License Laws =R they same all over?

I have had a CDL FOR OVER 20 YEARS , w/1 DUI in past 24+ yrs ago in Ma. Recentley got a DUI and pled out to get lic right back . Got my reg lic w/intrlok , and was told my CDL lic was gone for life for 2nd conviction DUI ( melanie's law) . can I get it back in another state if I moved ( (like Nh - RMV would only be charging me as 1st offense) ??? -- -

The general rule is that if your rights are suspended or revoked in one state, the other states will respect that revocation or suspension. You did not indicate where yout got the recent DUI convication. Generally, records for a "second offense" go back only 10 years in most states. Perhaps you should meet with a local attorney to review all the facts and circumstances to see if there is some way to appeal the loss of your CDL privileges.
