Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

divorce- third party loans

I am recently involved in a divorce. It will become final in April 2002. I cosigned for a vehicle with my husband about 1 year ago. In our divorce decree it states that he is responsible for this vehicle. If in the future he renigs on this, how and to what extent am I to be held responsible for this debt. If the judge has decleared this his debt, am I still responsible? If so that I am responsible, before the divorce is final can I ask a judge to have my husband have my name removed from this loan?

Re: divorce- third party loans

a third party need not go against your ex since the loan is against you;

however, you can bring your ex into any action, and simply you should file in court for a contempt against him.
