Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Hampshire

immigration

My fiance will be arriving from Indonesia next month on a b1/b2 5 year visa. She has been here 3 times in the last 4 years for 2-3 month periods. We plan on getting married when she arrives in the US next month. Will she be able to change her visa for resident stay without leaving the country? what is the best way to start the process? Thank you,

Re: immigration

Once married, your spouse should be able to adjust to that of a permanent resident without having to leave the U.S. I strongly recommend, however, that you consult with competent immigration counsel before marriage.

Our practice is national in scope and we have extensive experience with family-based cases such as yours. We would be happy to have a personal or phone consultation with you.

Responding to this inquiry in no way establishes an attorney client relationship; however, I look forward to exploring these issues with you further by way of telephone or in-person consultation.

Re: immigration

WHOA!!! Hold on. Be very careful how you approach this. If she's coming as a visitor and intends to marry you right away you could have some "fraudulent intent" issues. This can be a very simple process and you don't want to jeopardize it. If you want to discuss this further you can call my office and we'll set up a consultation and I can explain the entire process to you and give you my recommendation.
