Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Hampshire

Suffering with pain for three and a half years.

I had infected left mandible of lower jaw. Had surgery to remove some of the infected bone. Was left with numbness of lower lip and gums. yet extremely painfull and burning sensation. when I eat solid food I suffer for hours.Wake up with pain and feeling of stiffnes of the lip.I was told it would go away in 6 months to a year. It has been 3 and a half years.I can not even bite a grape and break the skin due to extreme pain. Can not tell if food or drink is too hot untill it hs entered my mouth and get burned.Cold food or drink gives feeling like something cold running on outside of lip but is not. Problem with drewling when chewing food at times and not knowing untill it reaches under my chin. I was told that no nerve tissue had been removed. Some times putting pressure on lower jaw bone with my fingers, helps to relieve some of the pain. I have trouble digesting food due to innability to chew food properly.I would love to eat a french fry or cookie again. Am I doomed to mushy food or Should I persue this?

Re: Suffering with pain for three and a half years.

First If this claim is in New Hampshire, then you need to immediately speak with a malpractice attorney, because the statute of limitations in New Hampshire is three years.

It is also hard to tell what it is that you think that the doctor may have done wrong. In order to prove malpractice, you have to prove that a mistake was made and that that mistake caused your injuries.

Call a malpractice lawyer.
