The answer is "no" (unless a court ordered it or it was pursuant to valid legal process).

Re: Giving paycheck to someone else

i have read what the other attorney wrote. he is correct. No, your employer can never give your paycheck to anyone else, unless there is a Court Order or something like a court order that says so.

I have done work in Kinnelon and Butler and Passaic County for 13 years; call me if you need a lawyer to help you out. It should not take much to make your employer fix this. If they do not respond to you, then you could try to get the Wage And Hour Division of NJ Labor to go after them.

I will be happy to discuss this with you; the telephone consultation will be free.

Re: Giving paycheck to someone else

I AGREE WITH THE OTHER AUTHORS. UNLESS THERE IS A COURT ORDER OR SOME LEGAL PROCESS LIKE A WAGE GARNISHMENT OR TAX LEVY BY IRS OR THE STATE, THE ANSWER IS NO. MORE FACTS ARE NEEDED FOR MORE THAN A GENERAL RESPONSE.
