Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

LLC owenership

Can one LLC own another LLC. For example can X LLC be the sole owners of Y LLC, either by forimg Y LLC's Operating Agreement to state this or by making Y LLC a subsidary of X LLC.

In NJ, one LLC can be a partner in another LLC.
