If a white man you know blatantly calls you a ''nigger'' are there any suits or can anything legally be done for his actions?

It depends upon the context. Is this work related? Is it a stranger? A neighobr? It is possible that you could bring a tort claim but there would have to be some proof of verifiable damages in order for it be worthwhile.
