Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
i took my truck to a mechanic to rebuild my engine. i was told it takes a week max and got that and the price in writting. The mechanic did the work wrong and destroyed the engine during the process. its been seven weeks now and the additional car rental and towing fees have crossed the 3k range not including the 1,200 i paid him for the rebuild. he promised to reimburse me the addtional fees and wrote me two bad checks plus the truck no longer runs. can i sue?

That is really bad. Yes, if he destroyed the truck's engine, you have a claim against him.

Call me, and I will help you out.
