Collection of debt

My husband and I have loaned money on several occassions to our son and his wife,each loan was made with the understanding it would be repaid. We have a promissary note for one of the debts. Can we garnish his wages until we are paid in full.

You can have wages garnished if you have a court order for that. You get one by getting a money judgment in a lawsuit.
