It depends on the charge! Was if a felony charge, or a DP/PDP (Disorderly Person/Petty Disorderly Person) charge? Doesn't anyone READ and ask questions before posting a question like this? The answer is obvious IF YOU READ!

If the matter was in the Superior Court of New Jersey, it was a crime which was charged. If the

matter was in a municipal court, it was a disorderly person offense which was charged.

If the matter was in Super Court and ten years have passed since the end of your probation and payment of all fines and assessments you can file for the expungement of the conviction, so long as there were no prior or subsequent convicitions for a felong.

If the matter was in a municipal court, you can apply for the expungement of the conviction five

years following the end of your probation and your payment of all fines and assessments.
