Criminal Law

I am graduating from nursing school and the application form asks if you have ever been arrested or pled guilty. I was arrested 15 years ago for simple assult. How will this affect me.

It may or may not have an effect based on character and fitness. The best solution id to obtain an expungement (if you qualify).

You should file an expungement. It is a fairly simple process, and depending on how you were charged/sentenced, it may be granted as a right (meaning it will go through quickly).
