HI, I am 37 years Indian male curently staying in USA with Indian wife. It has been 8 years since marriage in India. Both have green card in USA. We have a son aged 5 yrs (born in USA). Me and my wife have a lot of personnel conflicts and my wife has a knack of calling her brother and parents when we have arguments. And her parents and brother have been abusng me and my parents. In our last argument she called up her brother and parents and took my son along with them. I have bought 2 properties in Indai after marriage. Can you suggest how can I proceed with divorce, and is my Indian property will be divided as part of equal distribution?? Shall I go for divorce in India or US?? My wife already has a propery in her name from her parents, is there a way I keep my 2 properties in India and it should not be divided? Any help will beh ugely appreciated.

There is a lot at risk here. Your property. Alimony, maybe. Child support payments.

Before you do anything, please talk to a divorce attorney in your area.

This is serious. These legal issues will affect you and your family for many years.

You may cause great harm to yourself and your child, and may lose a lot of money, if you do the wrong thing.
