Are child support payments used for previous month or upcoming month? I.e if I pay April 1st, will it be credited for all of April or previous month of March?

Child support accrues from the time it is ordered and any payments go to any existing balance. If there is no balance, it will be credited toward child support to be accrued. In other words, payments are not credited toward any given month. It just goes to pay what you owe or what you will owe.

Keep in mind that this advice is based purely on the little bit of information that you have given to me. There certainly may be other factors that would change my opinion. Further, no one can rely on advice from an attorney who has not been retained. You will only be able to rely on advice from an attorney who you have actually retained. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
