costodial parent moving out of state

i am in the prosses of getting divorced, i have 3 childern and am the costolial parent the kids live with me as far as i know no papers have been signed as to who has the childern legale, i found a place to live in ct and i live in nj now the distance is less than 100 miles can i move there with my childern with out being arrested for kidnapping or do i need to get permission first from the court and or non costodial parent thank you --name removed-- --name removed--

You must either have the consent of the non-custodial parent or a Court Order in order to remove the children out of the State of New Jersey.
