Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My husband and I may be divorcing. I would like to pay off our mortgage so I can be able to keep the house as I work part time. We owe 106,000 on our mortgage. Can I take money out of my Ira to buy him out?

You could, but in a divorce he has a claim against your IRA, too. You need to insure that you will not end of losing the remaining portion of your IRA. See a lawyer, first. Call me alt 201/342/7933.
