Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Married a year and no kids what can i expect from divorce

Wife is seeking equitable interest from my house, which I owned prior

to marriage. The marriage duration was only 16 month before filing.

What can I expect from this for she should not be entitled to

anything after only one year. She had nothing to bring into this

marriage except herself and her cat. Can the marriage debt be

considered since I refinanced it in a new loan after we were married?

After I refianced to absorb debt of marriage she was added by mortgage

company to deed for they recommended it. Also i felt coarsed by her since i thought the marriage might be in danger if she was not. She had left ealier in the marriage a few times already.

Any ideas to what I might expect. Her lawyer is asking for equitable

house interest for the year.
