Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My youngest daughter has finally started university, after a gap year. Just recently my court mandated child support has ended and my child has been emancipated. She has started at U of Maine, and I am now being asked by her mother to pay for 7,000.00, or half of the expense beyond the scholarship my daughter has. there has been no conversation prior to this, and over the years my ex-wife has shaken me down, via court, rather than mediation for as much money as she could get. I have never been opposed to support, and there is more to the story, but the bottom line is that I have very little money to give. I have already had to take a loan against my retirement, which isn't even paid off yet, in order to defend myself and have an attorney to represent me a few years ago. By the way, I am in Oregon and she is in New Jersey. My question is this: Can I just personally re-instate child support on my own, by auto depositing money into my kid's bank, and call it good? I have no chunk of money, but love my kid, and want to help as much as I reasonably can. Can her emancipation be undone? What do I need to do?
