Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

protecting my home

Members of my block have decided to have a block party. They had a meeting that I was unable to attend (as were many others) and the date was set. Now there will be food, rides, and a large expense to us for them to have a party that I don't approve of. The country park is just down the road and could accomodate the party better. I've heard horror stories of property damage from crowds and outsiders and I'm not looking for that to happen at my home. How can I over ride this? The police chief is the father of one of my neighbors and the commisioner is in his back pocket which is why this busy street is being allowed to hold this function. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Your question does not have all the needed information to guide you as to how to try to stop this, and I do not see any simple easy way for you to proceed. I suggest you contact (and pay) a local lawyer to try to help you.
