Legal Question in Health Care Law in New Jersey

My job, which paid all my health benefits, recently decided to make us pay for family health benefits. My wife is pregnant and her due date is 10 days after the benefits are cut off. My job(a public school) said I could keep her on for an astronomical fee. Can they legally do this?

What does the union contract say? what does your employment agreement say? what kind of notice did they give you?

This could cost you a ton of money.

Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and let's get moving on this for you. No charge for the first office visit.

I know people worry about how expensive a lawyer is, so I am careful to be as inexpensive as I can for my clients. Before you spend a dime, you will know how much this is likely to be.
