Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

Hi, I am currently on H1 VISA working in United States from past 6 years. I have invited my in-laws to visit us and I am the sponsor for the trip. I live in New Jersey and I have some relative in Atlanta. I wanted to ask if I can make them land directly to Atlanta and then fly from there to NJ after spending some time with relatives. Will there be any question from Immigration about why they landing to Atlanta and not New Jersey ? Is it OK and lawful to do so ? Since its there first visit I don't want any churn at the last moment. Any suggestion will be a great help.

I don't see why there would be any problem. A "sponsor" for a visitor visa is no longer required by the U.S. Department of State.
