i have a wonderful ideal that would make an everyday chore easier.would like some information how and who to connect about an invention.

First step is to do a quick patent search to see if you find any patent that shows the concept to be already known. Once you have done that you should see a patent attorney, as that is the legal expert who is trained to protect inventions. The patent office website www.uspto.gov has a wealth of basic information. Caution: Steer clear of scam artists...my webpage will give you the links to lists where you can find out some of the more notorious ones to avoid. Bottom line: see a patent attorney as soon as you feel reasonably confident your idea is new, useful, not obvious from what has been done before, and has decent commercial potential. The earlier you take this step, the less it costs and the more that can be done to protect your invention. Delay can result in losing your rights.
