Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Ability to sue employer

Was injured on job..employer terminated me exactly 6months after accident, even though employer approved treatment for head injury of 7 months. Employee handbook contradicts itself regarding workers comp; under workers comp it states only to refer to human relations for information, but on another page under a different topic refers to workers comp as an unpaid leave of absence as requested by employee. Employees out on disability have had jobs held open for over 1 year. Only workers comp are terminated exactly 6 months after injury. do I have any recourse???
