Employee Contract Breach

I was under a contract for a year with a company. I left the company by 8 months,due to reasons listed below:

1)Non Payment of salary for first month.

2)Subsequent salary payment made only after 45 days.

3)Posted me to work in another state, other than NewJersey(Legal status to work in NewJersey).

now they have filed a case against me for noncompliance of the contract. what should i do..??

You definitely have a good defense, i.e. that the employer breached the contract first.

You also have a "counterclaim" based on the same issue. You have a claim agains them for the damages that you list.
