Pregnancy Discrimination

I was promoted to Asst. Director of one of our Day Cares. When the head director found out I was pregnant she said i can't be promoted because I'm pregnant. Can they do this because i am pregnant?Isn't this discrimination?

If the reason they didn't promote you was because you are pregrant they are violating the law. You need to see an attorney.

You have only 180 days from the time you were told you can't have the job to file a complaint. If you fail to report your discrimination within 180 days you cannot recover anything from this discrimination.
