Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

I received a notice of removal by the 30th of this week. Hurricane sandy is approaching and they have shut everything down and my state is in state of emergency. Will they still come to lock me out of my apt during this time

Unlikely. The Courts in Union County are closed on October 29th. What happens on the 30th remains to be seen. You can check with http://www.judiciary.state.nj.us/closings/union/index.htm for more details.

Probably not. I would expect to be locked out after the state of emergency is lifted
