Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

I was prescribed Provera (Medroxyprogesterone) 10mg on 2-12-2013 for a very heavy menstral cycle to stop the bleeding and if that didn't work he was going to admit me into the hospital for IV meds after a few days which I called in and was told by the nurse to continue to take it per his orders. By the 2-17-2013 I started to feel a numbness in my right hand, down my right leg and foot. I called my doctor's office on 2-18-2013 and left a message for the nurse that I was still bleeding less than I was and had the numbness, she called me back telling me that my doctor told me to continue to take the medicine and I even asked regarding the numbness with no response, so I did as my doctor told was supposed to have told and took it by the end of the week I couldn't lift my right foot to walk normal I had to march so I didn't fall, I continued to take it for a total of 14 more days. I hadn't stopped bleeding, I bleed until 4-9-2013 for a total time of 2 months. I got my cycle on 3-4-2013 and it was very heavy so I went into his office and he gave me Generess Fe and Irospan 24/6 to take. I asked about the numbness that I had since the 2-17-2013 and didn't get a response. I went outside on 3-16-2013 and lost my footing because of my right foot almost fell and decided to call my regular doctor and make an appointment. I went in on 3-18-2013 and was seen by my doctor she said the symptoms are of Foot Drop and requested an MRI (done on 3-25-2013) and to see the Neurologist for an EMG (done 3-29-2013) to find out what is causing it. The MRI showed a few things but nothing that would cause the nerve issues to have that happen, the Neurologist did the muscle test (EMG) and showed my muscles are perfectly fine, so was referred to a Neurosurgeon who looked over the MRI and stated that nothing on my back would cause this and order further testing of an MRI for my brain and C-Spine. He stated that if nothing shows then I have to see the Neurologist to try to figure out what may have happened but so far the only thing that I can reflect to is the Provera (Medroxyprogesterone) 10mg I was prescribed and took that caused my numbness and foot.

So far I've seen a NeuroSurgeon who ordered an MRI of the C-Spine and Brain and then diagnosed by him with MS then sent me to a Neurologist for a full MS workup. When I seen the Neurologist he told me I didn't have MS ordered another EMG and an MRI of Thorasic Region with and without contrast and physical therapy which is helping me regain my movement but I still have the numbness. I have a follow up appointment with him in August but I'm limited to time that I have to get things started I would think. After my visit with him there is no possible reason for that to have happened other than my body had an immune to the medicine which caused that to happen. I still have the numbness in my right hand and down my right leg from just below the knee to my toes. I have no sexual desire, I constantly feel I have to go to the bathroom and my cycle is still very heavy and has a mind of it's own when it supposed to come it doesn't, My cycle in May never came, instead I got it June 4th then I got July's on the 26th. I can't go anywhere for too long of a period of time as I have to wear heavy pads that I tend to go through, I have hot and cold flashes. I may not be the only one who's had to go through this. It's not listed as a side effect and I even told my doctor. I'm glad I hadn't taken it longer than I had because I may be worse off. Do I have any legal bounds for this as I don't know how much more of a change in my life I'm going to have to deal with after taking this medicine?
