I bought a home when i was single. I then married and had refinanced the home. Have since seperated now getting a divorce. I went to refinance the home and found out 2 old bills in my husbands name from before we were married have put a judgement on the house. Is this legal? Those bils are not mine or have anything to do with me and his name is not even on the title. Please help.

There is no such thing as a "judgment on the house." Judgments are against people. A judgment against you can be docketed, and once docketed it will be a lien on real estate that you own, such as the house. If your husband's name is not on the deed, then judgments against him should not create any judgment lien on real estate owned by you. From your description, it sounds like a judgment may have been entered against YOU, jointly with your husband. Do you recall ever receiving a lawsuit (summons and complaint)? If there is a judgment against YOU, that would explain why there would be a lien on real estate owned by you. Feel free to call to discuss further.
