Re: Foreclosure began but not reversed?

Unfortunately this is typical of collection lawyers, most of whose work is done by paralegals or other non-lawyer office staff. My gripe at colleagues aside, there may be a simple solution. You or your attorney should call the Buyer's title company, explain the situation and arrange an escrow with the title company for the amount they deem necessary to cover the amount in dispute. By placing funds in escrow, this at least allow the transaction to close. When the matter in dispute is resolved, even if it takes some time, the title company will release the escrow and pay what is due or return the funds to you.
