If you want to get rid of it you will need to go to court. First you need to inquire about there is a warrant based on your failure to appear or if the ticket was just never rescheduled for court. You want to find out if the officer who issued it is even still around. There are number of possible outcomes. If the officer has retired or left the job you could try and have it dismissed. Also why were you suspended? There are numerous factors that affect what may happen. The assistance of a lawyer would help. Please feel free to call to discuss further. 201 342 5030 or 973 723 8995.
