Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

I asked executor for accounting before I disclaimed my share, no response. We have several indications he's trying to hide whatever he can, so my children (all over 18) may have to file a complaint to get a full fiduciary accounting. I can't afford wasted legal expenses, so how long after request is definitely not too soon to file complaint? When figuring how long to wait from time of initial request to filing complaint, should they count from my request or do they need to make a new request and figure from the time they make it?

There is no specific time period required. I suggest your children (presumes you disclaimed in favor of them) make a demand and offer a reasonable period of time to respond (such as 30 days). If there is no response by then, have them file the complaint.
