Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

My ex wife residing in TX, I in NM and I have sole custody. She owes over $26,000 in child support. I recently found she was arrested on felony drug charges in TX and pd a $50,000 surety bond and has an arraignment in July. Should I contact the DA handling her drug case to inform of the child support?

YES. And, you should tell the person at CSED in both Texas and New Mexico. They might be able to help you get some money.

Hope this helps.
