Legal Question in Disability Law in New York

ADA Discrimination

I am paralyzed in the back of my neck with dystonia, and I have extreme anxiety, amongst other disabilities. Last January, I was harassed underextreme duress, by Hewlett Packard, into getting a serial number at the back of my printer, or else I would not be able to get services from a service technician, for my printer, which I must have to do my doctoral work. This complaint is pending before the rochester office of the New York State division of Human Rights. I have a witness who can attest to that. Thank you again for trying to help. Yours truly, Jeff Lewis

Re: ADA Discrimination

This is a far more complex issue than can be elaborated on in a simple response. Was the company aware of your disability? Had they previously made reasonable accommodations for you? You may contact my office via email to follow up.
