Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Can I have a business owner arrested for stealing my money? The bank paid the equipment dealer in full and he has been blowing me off for the last 6 weeks and won't deliver the equipment. I'm stuck paying the loan and my contractor is waiting to install everything.

This would be a civil matter. You can sue for a number of different causes if action - breach of contract, conversion, fraud, etc. It will be important to have all of your documents and proofs in order.
