Legal Question in Business Law in New York

I am a land owner who leased my property, through a signed contract, to an LLC that produced an outdoor music festival on my land. They left garbage and dumpsters on the property, which, by contract, they were obligated to remove. By the terms of the contract they were to pay me 3 days ago. I have sent emails and texts and have had no response from them. What are my options to get paid and have the garbage removed?

You can have a lawyer send a written demand on them, or you can file a claim in small claims court as well for any our of pocket expense this has cost you. Just make sure you document as much as you can.

If you would like to discuss further over a free phone consult, feel free to contact me anytime that is convenient.

Our firm is now referred by the American Bar Association (see under the New York section):

I never advise business with an LLC unless you get a personal guarantee by one of the partners. LLC have limited liability and probably have no assets.
