Legal Question in Business Law in New York
If I a person holds the patent on a specific metal but a company uses the metal in their designs, would I contact the patent holder or the company to design a specific item using this metal?

You would contact the patent holder. He would license the use of the patented metal the same way he licenses it's use to the current company.
