Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

I drive a rather expensive car (around $40k paid for it). It is now 2 years old, and was kept in pristine condition. During a routine service at the dealership, they damaged the interior through obvious carelessness. They acknowledged their fault. They had to replace parts in order to rectify the situation, but they ended up causing more damage in the process. They will replace the parts again, but I have very profound doubts about their work ethic and believe that they will make the situation even worse. I am not willing to leave my car as is.

What is the dealer's responsibility to me, legally, in terms of restoring my car back to it's condition before they damaged it?

If the dealer was negligent causing the damage, their responsibility is to make you whole - either by repairing the automobile or paying for a repair.
