Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

government freezing funds

how do I get my money out of a business bank account (not mine) in another state frozen by the US AG (who filed a complaint) a day after I sent in the monies by bank wire? I am not a party in the complaint...just someone caught in the middle. It will bankrupt me if I can't recover the funds (18k).

Re: government freezing funds

If your money is in someone else's account that is subject to a restraining lien, due to someone else's debt, you ought to get it back, but you must file a claim for it. You MUST retain an attorney, and immediately make an appointment and explain this! If you wish to see me, respond.
